Did you remember to check in with everyone at the house?

[Mio's upstairs, too, sitting on the edge of a beach chair and taking in the bright blanket of the stars. The starlight feels so warm and caring.

Admittedly, the others on Corpse Flower might not care all that much. They're all very independent.]

Not...exactly. I had planned on spending the night there, but I lost track of time.

Me too, [Mio admits a little sheepishly.] I'll try and bring back some food as a make-up, maybe. [That's two Bibi breakfasts she'll have potentially missed, and she's staying optimistic that even if they end up trapped here, the morning won't bring the inevitable dark dawn that roils like an omen low in her stomach. Mio tilts her head back.]

I like it here - especially upstairs like this. It's usually a little bit quieter, but the space feels really... safe.

[The bath is fine, relaxing in small doses, but it's the rest of the building that holds her attention.]
